| On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Rodin Museum, a new installation will feature approximately twenty sculptures in marble, bronze, and plaster by the great French sculptor Auguste Rodin, from the collection of the Rodin Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Musée Rodin, Paris. Throughout the fall and winter of 2004-2005, Rodin-related activities will take place. On Oct. 14, 2004, Antoinette LeNormand-Romain, curator of the Musée Rodin in Paris, will lecture. | |||

| Colombet's work is both abstract and suggestive of landscapes. The critic Nena Tsouti-Schillinger observes, "Colombet is an abstract painter who seems to imbue paint with emotional resonance."
